On Friday and Saturday, Bet The Farm will host John Wedler, a local artisan who makes luckystone bracelets. These bracelets are all unique designs and make a great gift for your College grad. As John says, “Why not take a piece of Aurora with you?”

Finger Lakes Artisan Cheese Trail Open House
Ever wondered how cheese is made? Right here, in our own backyard, we have some world class cheese crafts-persons, turning out world class artisan cheeses. About a dozen farmstead cheese houses have sprouted up in the past few years, amongst the wine trails. There is Sheep’s Milk Cheeses, Goudas, Goats Milk Cheese, Cheddars, Jacks, Colby, Washed Rind Stinkies, even Cheese Curds! Samples and sales are part of the open house event, so plan to buy cheese, stop at a winery, grab a loaf of bread, and enjoy a day touring in the Finger Lakes.

Location: Finger Lakes Dexter Cheese Creamery and Keeley's Cheese Co. (both in King Ferry, NY - about a 10 minute drive from Aurora) and other locations on the FLTC
Admission: Free; no advance registration necessary

Nature Observed and Imagined: 500 Years of Chinese Painting
From theoretical landscapes to direct observations, this exhibition explores the evolution of Chinese artists' approaches to depicting the natural world in the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The exhibition includes major loans from private collections side by side with the Johnson's own fine collection of Chinese painting to present treasures by many of China's great master painters.

Mayfest International Chamber Music Festival
Cornell’s 3rd annual international chamber music festival promises world-class chamber music at various locations in and around the Cornell campus. The festival will salute the anniversary years of Schumann and Samuel Barber, and present a lively combination of classics, lesser-known works, a jazz/klezmer jam, and new works written specifically for the festival by Cornellians Roberto Sierra and James Matheson. This feast for the ears is not to be missed!
