Aurorafest
Every year, the Village of Aurora sets aside a weekend in July to celebrate life in Aurora and " bring some BIG fun to our TINY village." This year, the theme is "Cirque D'Aurora" and the "circus" kicks off on Friday night with a Blessing of the Boats BBQ, a live band along the shores of Cayuga Lake, and a Battle of the Bands at Wells College. Activities on Saturday include a Fun Run ( 1 mile / 2 miles), a "Dock-to-Dock" swim, a "Blessing of the Boats," the ever-delicious "Taste of Aurora," a Parade through the Village, REAL LIVE Jousting, Kid's Games (including a Pie Eating Contest), and an evening of live music, food, and drink. The day will close with one of the best Fireworks shows around.

Route 90 Sale
This annual event stretches more than 50 miles along Route 90. Vendors selling everything from fine antiques to standard garage sale wares line the sidewalks of Aurora and beyond.
