MacKenzie-Childs, Aurora The celebrated maker of hand-crafted tableware, home furnishings and accessories is located less than one mile from the Aurora Inn. Visitors can tour the Victorian Farmhouse, view artisans at work in the new Visitors Center, stroll through the gardens, or shop in the retail store.

Village Market, Aurora Immediately adjacent to the Inn, this quaint market offers visitors a selection of local and homemade products. Try our delectable pastries, hand cut meats, homemade soups, "Market Meals" and more - all prepared fresh daily by the talented Aurora Inn chefs. Featuring Gimme! Pizzaurora Billed as “the pizzeria with pizzazz,” Pizzaurora is located in a 1940s garage across the street from the Aurora Inn. Now completely renovated with a bright, contemporary decor, the family-friendly restaurant serves homemade thin-crust pizza, calzones and submarine sandwiches.

Dorie’s This charming luncheonette and restored soda fountain offers homemade soups, sandwiches, salads, fresh-baked breads, ice cream, pastries and desserts. A short walk from the inn, Dorie’s has a shady deck that overlooks the lake.
